Wood turned bowls are some of the most beautiful things that can come off a lathe. Getting into my shop and learning how to push myself and make new things is daunting...but it's something that I truly am grateful that I've taken the time to do. That’s how this Mortar and Pestle came to be!
This mortar & pestle was made on August 12, 2024, for Week 19 of the B.P. Farms Workshop Instagram series “It’s Monday…let’s make something!” To find out more about it, you can read the blog post! It was made from a single maple log from our previous property.
This mortar & pestle was hand turned, by me, here on the farm and finished with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil and rubbed down with B.P. Farms Wood Butter.
