When working with green wood (wood that has not been dried) the wood changes shape while I'm working with it, and as it dries the wood further changes shape. That's one of the great things about working with green wood! Most bowls that I make will be with wood that has been previously dried, so the shape should not change too much. However, if the bowl was turned from green wood, it will have dried naturally for several weeks before finish sanding and oiling takes place. And the listing will state if it was in fact turned from green wood.

Currently Squarespace doesn’t have a way to combine items for shipping so each individual item purchased will add its charge to the shipping cost. After your order is placed and I’m preparing the shipment, if there are overages in the shipping paid, those funds will be refunded. I currently charge what the USPS charges me plus a $3.00 “handling fee.” And that fee covers the cost of the box, packing material and shipping prep.
