Like every other woodworker, I have a lot of wood in my barn that I’ve collected over the years that I’ve been trying to find a use for. And recently…I found it!

Wooden Bud Vases are a wonderful accent to any home. The vases are not meant to hold water and live plants. Did you find the perfect bloom you wanted to dry and display? These vases will be perfect for it! In the pictures, I’ve displayed it with fresh cut lavender…but no water was added to this vase.

This vase was made on September 30, 2024, for Week 26 of the B.P. Farms Workshop Instagram series “It’s Monday…let’s make something!” To find out more about it, you can read the blog post! This vase is made from a piece of Cherry Wood. This is from a tree that was cut down in a yard in Snohomish. This vase has exquisite coloring and even a void on one side!
